Lauren Baugher

Who is she:

Coach Baugher is a Physical Education/ Health/Wellness Teacher at Newton North High School. She has been coaching field hockey & softball for over 25 years and is most known for the amazing energy she brings to everything she does.

Coaching Background:

Newton North Field Hockey coach:  1999-2002, 2011- 2012, 2023-present

Vice President: Massachusetts State Field Hockey Coaches Association (MSFHCA)

Newton North Varsity Softball coach: 1999-present

Boston College Assistant Softball Coach: 1997-1999

Playing Experience:

Coach Baugher is a member of the USA Women’s Masters World Cup Team which competed in Barcelona, Spain during the summer in 2018.  She was named Captain of the team and was the leading scorer.

Coach Baugher played Division I field hockey (4 years), softball (4 years) and lacrosse (1 year) at the University of Delaware.
Honors:

Regional All-American 1995 and 1996

Captain of Field Hockey and Softball Teams 1996 and 1997

Inducted into UD Hall of Fame 2003, Neshaminy High School Hall of Fame 2015 and Bucks County (PA) Sports Hall of Fame 2022.

Currently holds several records in at University of Delaware (Game winning goals, assists, assists per game, defensive saves, and shots)
